mri of the ex-press stainless steel glaucoma drainage device

by:Luteng CNC Parts     2020-09-17
Evaluation of magnetic properties of Ex-vivo actaim
Stainless steel glaucoma drainage device when MRI.
Experimental research on design. Methods The Ex-
Pressure glaucoma drainage device (
Stainless steel)
The magnetic field interaction was examined under standard 1. 5, 3. 0, and 4.
MRI scan protocol for 7 t.
Tests include measurements of device translation and rotational motion caused by static magnetic fields.
In addition, changes in the temperature of the unit were measured to evaluate the presence of RF heating in the stainless steel unit.
The main results measure the degree of angle deflection, the displacement and rotation of the equipment, and the change of temperature.
Results during the induction torque test, no displacement occurred at 1. 5 and 3.
Under the condition of 0 t, although a large amount of displacement has occurred in 4. 7 Environment.
At all three field strengths, the amount of angular deflection has increased.
In either of the three MRI strengths, we did not record significant temperature changes in the brain MRI sequence.
Before conclusion
The pressure glaucoma drainage device is made of grade 1 stainless steel and does move in the presence of a high magnetic field.
At present, the clinical significance of this discovery and the transformation of the in vivo situation are not known.
Further research is needed to better understand how the magnetic properties of this device after implantation affect patients, and how to advise patients on the safety of MRI early and late postoperative.
